We get with Papa Doc for our "Next N' Game" section. Speaking very confident on his music and why he's next, it's simply understandable that Papa Doc is built for this. Getting in-depth on his relationship fellow NY emcee Uncle Murda, Papa knows it's best when the city sticks together.

QtheQuestion.com: When it comes to the rap game, what makes you different or stand out from the rest? With the over saturation of the industry standing out is a must.

Papa Doc: I think what makes me different is the fact that while born in Jamaica queens new york, I’ve also lived in Florida both Jacksonville and the ft.laurdadale Miami area.I naturally developed a hybrid flow that is not exclusively  north or south. I believe everyone can gravitate to it.

QtheQuestion.com:  Where did you grow up and how long have you been rappin'? Also can you
speak on your connection with Uncle Murda and why ya’ll so tight?

Papa Doc: I grew up in Jamaica Queens, what we like to call Southside and  because I had family in Florida I was always down there for summers until I even lived down there for a while. As far as how long I’ve been rapping if you let my mom tell the story she would say since I  learned how to talk (Laughs). Uncle murda that’s my G we go way back he been reppin BK, I've been reppin Queens and now it’s was about time for us to make something hot together.

QtheQuestion.com: How would you define your music? The record that’s generating great
buzz right now is “Built For This”. Speak on the concept of the record and how
it came about?

Papa Doc: I would describe my music as life music. Music based on my life experiences, experiences which I’m sure a lot of people can relate to. Yes the record “Built for this” III is generating great buzz right now its actually the third installment of the built for this series. “Built for This” I  was produced by Midi Mafia back In 2006, we put out “Built for This II along with a street album in 2008, that helped us to create a nice buzz in New York, Miami and even Cancun, Mexico. The concept of the record was born out of frustration with the rap game for signing acts that did not seem to possess all of the qualities needed to truly be considered an MC.      QtheQuestion.com: What do you hope to accomplish throughout your career? What are
your long term goals?

Papa Doc: I hope to one day  be considered one of the best that ever did it. I want the world to speak of me in the same breath as Micheal Jackson and President Obama (laughs). I have one long term goal and that is to never limit my goals.
