Getting down with Tracy for a quick chat on this book, QtheQuestion.com new comer Trista Kinman links with the intelligent author to get more insight on the great novel that will uplift women.

QtheQuestion.com: One of the most frequently asked questions’ regarding “Who Said Peaches Were Perfect?” is, what inspired you to write this novel?

TN: Mentoring young girls for years and having two girls of my own, I wanted to write a story that could have an impact on their lives.  I want them to be able to talk about their issues in order to make informed decisions.

QtheQuestion.com: You seem to have an eager desire to help both women & children.  Who inspired and motivated you growing up?

TN: I have always been one to mentor teens.  When you go through a divorce, a lot of women lose everything.  I didn’t lose everything.  I felt blessed.  A lot of people want to help, but they don’t know how.  With Seeds of Love, I helped get $200 worth of Christmas gifts for foster children.  Also, with Our House, I was able to give each woman an outfit and a pair of shoes for job interviews to help them get back on their feet.  Once I started helping others, I couldn’t stop.

QtheQuestion.com: After reading the reviews (from Jet Magazine, Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of TLC, etc.) of, “Who Said Peaches Were Perfect?”, I find that a lot of readers want to know if you’re going to have a “part two” or a series to this book?

TN: I don’t think I have a choice!  I have actually started on part 2, but I’m not sure where I want go with it yet.”  Tracy did also mention that she goes to local book clubs and does take ideas from her readers regarding the sequel to “Who Said Peaches Were Perfect?”

QtheQuestion.com: How has your childhood affected and molded your adult life?

TN: My biological father was an abusive alcoholic. I pull from that energy and I also pull from fiction because it is more enjoyable. I pulled from real life events as well. Real life is more unbelievable than fiction.

QtheQuestion.com: What is your new novel, “Landing” about?  What was the inspiration behind this story?

TN: “Landing is about dealing with an unexpected loss.  I wanted to relate to people who have lost someone unexpectedly, whether it be with a death, separation, or divorce.

QtheQuestion.com: Where can we find out more about Tracy Nicole?  Where can we order your novels?

TN: You can find Tracy on Twitter @noperfectpeach.  Also, you can find out more information and place orders for her novels on www.Tracy-Nicole.com
