One of the hottest women in the industry right now, the sexy Dominican Republic born Rosa Acosta is now ready for change. Of course in the industry we all know each year it’s always a hot woman in your favorite rappers videos that makes the men drool. Even though her great opportunities in modeling happened by mistake, Ms. Acosta did take advantage of the connections that came about. Getting down with your boy Quinton “Q the Question” Hatfield for an exclusive interview, Rosa Acosta gives us her latest endeavors.

Soon to be putting an end to being known as the latest “Cover” girl, Rosa has a promising acting career that will soon come from under the wraps. While she can’t speak much on it, due to legal reasons, just be aware she is coming strong. Aside from that many also want to know what’s the deal with her and Soulja Boy. Rosa lets us in on the rumors between her and Soulja to clear it up for good.

QtheQuestion.com: I’m now ready to chat with the beautiful Rosa Acosta, what’s going on?

RA: Things in my career have been going great. I’m working on a lot of things for my acting career and making some moves to get to next level. Of course I still do the magazines, but this year I’ll be cutting back on it. I’m putting a lot of focus into acting and I’m also working on parts with a Spanish Network.

QtheQuestion.com: Speaking of the magazine features coming to an end, did you use that as platform to get your foot in the door?

RA: All of this happened as a casualty for me. I really wasn’t looking into any modeling or acting. I went to school for massage therapy. My dream was to be a dancer, I was part of the Dominican National Ballet when I was eighteen. I always saw myself working in the hospital with kids and just helping people. I just got the opportunity to do this full time so I’ll just go with the flow and take it to the next level. In the future I do want to do a lot of things with charity. Not any of this was planned (laughs).

QtheQuestion.com: But once getting involved with the business, what was your perception comparing TV to actual reality?

RA: I really wasn’t aware that I was in the industry. I just realized that people be making up rumors and will use any picture you create or post to create them.  After that that’s when I realized that people really do care about what you say. I have seen a lot of stuff and the things that happen in the industry I’m still kind of amazed. In essence I’m still the same girl that came from the Dominican Republic speaking almost no English.

QtheQuestion.com: Coming from the Dominican Republic and you admitting your troubles with English, was it hard to learn?

RA: It wasn’t hard, but I’m still working on it. I still have a pretty strong accent and I always tell my friends I’m welcomed anytime they want to correct me. I don’t get mad, I have a lot of fun with it and a lot of people are helping me out.

QtheQuestion.com: I told some of my followers on Twitter that I would be interviewing you. Many asked me to ask you about the rumors with Soulja Boy. Can you clarify some things?

RA: (Laughs) He is just somebody I know and we was twitter friends for a longtime. Then we happen to meet at least a couple times. He is a really good kid and never tried to date me. One day he just had the courtesy of taking me and my friends out to dinner. It was a group of us, we took a lot of pictures, and we had a lot of fun. The same pictures he took with me, he took with the other girls. Since the other girls were not as known they (paparazzi) just used my pictures. The funny thing is I try to clarify this so many times.

QtheQuestion.com: Would you date Soulja Boy or he’s too young for you?

RA: I think we don’t like each other like that. It’s a really cool vibe between me and him as friends. He’s a really good kid but we don’t like each other like that.

QtheQuestion.com: Your one of the top girls in the industry that a lot of guys with status would try to come after. Do you have a lot of professional athletes or rappers that try to get at you?

RA: Nah that doesn’t happen to me.

QtheQuestion.com: Why not, you hear stories and stuff I thought it happens.

RA: Yeah, not really. Maybe it happens with other people but not me.

QtheQuestion.com: Are you one of those unapproachable type?

RA:  I don’t know, but it just something that doesn’t happen to me.

QtheQuestion.com: Well maybe you intimidate them that’s why they don’t come near you?

RA: Why not, but I don’t have no stories of athletes are rappers trying to talk to me.

QtheQuestion.com: One follower asked me to ask you on twitter, about the short careers a lot of popular models have. Each time your turn around in the industry it’s always someone hot that comes and go. How you feel about that?

RA: Honestly I don’t want to keep being that girl for a long time. I wish it would all end this year. I just want to be the next new actress, TV host, I can’t wait for that girl to come out. Even if I decide this industry is not for me I have so many other ways to make a living I’m not even worried about it. I don’t know about the other girls. I don’t think you can see a video girl five years straight. What else you can see about her or how many pictures can you take and not get bored?

QtheQuestion.com: And that was my point, the careers are short lived!

RA: Your right, it is short. Do you have any other talents? Do you act, sing, you have to have some talent to take to next level.

QtheQuestion.com:  Speaking of you getting into acting do you watch Telemundo?

RA: Yeah I watch Telemundo, but when it comes to my acting I right now can’t talk too much about it. We are working on it and soon we’ll give you guys some more news about it.

QtheQuestion.com: How is life in Los Angeles compared to the rest of the United States?

RA: Before I was living in New York which was much colder. The weather is so nice in L.A. and I have a few friends here. This is the place to be for an acting career as well. I love it here. The acting classes are going great and I’m learning a lot.
