MJay is a young up and coming talented young man hailing from London in the big U.K.  Although still quite fresh to the music business MJay really is proving to be one artist to watch! His tracks consist of high lyrical content! Production that really is on another level, but above all MJay brings to us a breath of highly needed fresh musical air!!!

I recently caught up with the man himself to find out more about his musical aspirations, how he manages to break through the norm of other rappers out there and most of all to find out where we can learn more about him!

Hey MJay how are you?

 I Am Great Right Now, Everything is at a beautiful stage so i am still trying to take in all the buzz thats been around me.

Working hard on some new material?

 Yeah The Grind Never Stops Ha. Was actually in the studio this past weekend putting the final touches to my new single, which i feel like is going to be a summer smash, got a surprise feature on there 2 so watch out for it.

 We have to give our readers a brief introduction so can you just go ahead and sound off who exactly MJay is?

 MJay is more than a music artist, i am business minded as well as a clothing designer Ha. I work hard and give 110% at everything i do, and musically i am coming out with a new sound and i am very fresh and versatile look out for my album it will explain All. I don’t wana give too much away but my album will be something else.

 Awesomse, sounds good! So tell us you’re a London boy yeah!? What’s it like trying to break through within music whilst trying to venture through one of the biggest cities in the world?

You Know What People Just Don’t Realise the number of Great Talent Here in The UK, London alone has a lot of great underground artist’s and so i always use that as an advantage, i never panic or get scared that a certain artist is doing this or that instead i use that to motivate myself and make myself Go Harder, London is a great City, It’s Got everything you need from the High Life, Great Music to even the Girls Ha it’s a beautiful city.

Was music something you always felt you wanted to become involved with?

 You nnow what Haha i still remember when i was about 6 and i was grabbing the remote every time i heard a song i knew and i kept trying to rap/sing the song but you know i only knew little parts so the rest of the words would come out mumbled Haha, i have always loved music and wanted to be a part of it and everything i have achieved so far is amazing it’s a blessing, I thank my team for this and all my fans.

 You’ve released a few singles in a short space of time, you are clearly a man on your grind! What single is next on the roster to grace our airwaves?

 You Know what i do believe in the Statement “Keep The Fans Waiting And they want you more” but for me i like to supply the material i feel like a lot of artist’s careers end because they release a hot single and they are the talk of the town and everyone wants them and then they go from being hot to cold and just fall of the radar, then try coming back with a single that just goes down the drain Ha. I always love to keep up the hype around me and give the people what they want, which is beautiful and real music.  I Am excited about the new single because it’s going to be 1 of the biggest singles to come from me, i have really done my research and put 2 very talented well know artist’s on the single and it sounds like A HIT, but we will see how the fans take to it.

Are there any plans for an album? Or maybe an EP release?

 Yeah The Album Is On The Way, I Am Working, working and working on it, i am not doing the whole record 25 tracks and pick the best 1’s i am picking the tracks myself and making sure i put 110% into them and i am making Magic, the singles ain't releasing yet but i am already getting major booking so it’s a blessing.

 Although still new to music game yourself you do have some knowledge and experience with regards to the right and wrong ways to go….for someone just looking at stepping into a career of music what advice could you give to them?

 Definitely Be Independent, persistent and Hard Working, the music industry is a hard industry to get into, you got to give it everything you got, you really do shed blood sweat and tears in this game and i just thought it was a saying but it’s very true, make sure this is what you want before you give up everything to be in the music game. “You gotta learn the rules and tricks before you play this game” it seriously is like that and most importantly just do you and be real, remember to set trends and not follow them.
